Who are we?

Centech is a family-run business, founded by Mr. Safwat

Habib in 1968. Initially, Centech served as the exclusive agent for Siemens,
beginning in the early 1970s. The business has experienced remarkable growth
since then.

In the 1970s, when Siemens made the strategic decision to
establish Siemens S.A.E, Centech not only continued its partnership but also became a shareholder. Mr. Habib secured a board seat within the organization,
further solidifying the strong relationship between the two companies.

In the late 1980s, Mr. Habib identified an opportunity to
expand Centech’s presence in the business world by entering the Agricultural
Sector through the importation of fertilizers. 

In the 1990s, Centech expanded its operations by acquiring
two farms on the Cairo-Alexandria Highway. These farms boast a combined land area of 875 acres and feature a state-of-the-art packing facility dedicated to
the export of fresh produce.

Today, Centech proudly holds
distribution contracts with renowned global fertilizer companies such as SQM, Everris, and Mitsui.
