Ultrasol Magnum Flex 10-7-40

Ultrasol Magnum Flex 10-7-40 Ultrasol Magn Soil acidity (pH) is considered one of the most important factors affecting the availability of nutrients in the soil. Phosphorus is deposited under acidic conditions in the form of iron oxides.

  • Ultrasol Magnum Flex Soil acidity (pH) is considered one of the most important factors affecting the availability of nutrients in the soil. Phosphorus is deposited under acidic conditions in the form of iron phosphates (FePO4) and aluminum phosphates (AlPO4), which are poorly soluble forms and are not used by plants. On the other hand, under basic conditions, especially calcareous soils (which contain a high percentage of calcium carbonate, CaCO3), the soil acidity number rises to 7.5-8.2 or even higher. This leads to the precipitation of phosphorus in the form of calcium phosphate (Ca3(PO4)2), which is also an insoluble form.
  • It is worth noting that a high pH of more than 7 leads to a decrease in the availability of microelements such as iron, manganese, zinc, copper, and boron due to the inverse relationship between pH and the availability of these elements. Additionally, under basic conditions, ammonium (NH4) is efficiently absorbed as it faces less competition with hydrogen ions (H+), while the absorption efficiency of nitrates (NO3) decreases due to the presence of hydroxide ions (OH-). Therefore, when adding fertilizers, attention should be given to the form of nitrogen, favoring nitrate forms.
  • Ultrasol Magnum Flex is a fully acidic water-soluble NPK fertilizer that is suitable for all plant physiological needs. These fertilizers also help reduce the acidity of irrigation water, preventing sedimentation and blockage of drip irrigation lines. Furthermore, they improve the efficiency of element absorption.
  • It is considered a group with a strong acidic effect (pH < 2), as it reduces the bicarbonate content in the soil and lowers the acidity of the soil and irrigation water, making it suitable for calcareous soils and alkaline conditions.
  • All formulations of acidic fertilizers are in liquid form, such as nitric, sulfuric, and phosphoric acids. However, Ultrasol Magnum Felix compounds are characterized as dry acidic compounds, which reduces the risks associated with handling and use. They are considered safe compounds.
  • These compounds are highly suitable for modern irrigation systems as they do not cause sedimentation inside drip irrigation lines or sprinklers.
  • Ultrasol Magnum Felix compounds increase the availability of nutrients in the soil solution and enhance the efficiency of element absorption. This leads to an increase in chlorophyll content and photosynthesis rates in the soil.
  • The acidic effect of this group reduces nitrogen loss rates through volatilization, especially in acidic soils. This, in turn, increases the efficiency of nitrogen absorption.
  • Ultrasol Magnum Felix compounds are free of chlorine and sulfates. This reduces the salinity level of the fertilizer and prevents an increase in soil salinity. High levels of salinity can reduce crop quantity and quality.
