Zinc is absorbed by the plant in the form of Zn++ ions. Zinc deficiency symptoms appear on plants as follows: 1- Symptoms appear on the young terminal buds, where the leaf turns yellow between the veins. 2- The size of the leaves becomes smaller and the leaf elongates. 3- The terminal leaves cluster around each other, forming a rosette-like structure, known as resetting phenomenon. 4- The texture of the leaf edges of some branches becomes oily.
